The banter will grow in the coming movies ..

maybe I'm being picky but seems weird that the old Peter Parker who as Spiderman was clever talking superhero but in his normal was having his ass handed to him.
The new Spidey has a balanced personality in and out of the costume .. though its a comic trope that allows alter-egos to be totally opposite personality types so they its harder to believe that they are the same person. Case in point Superman-Clark Kent .. The only difference apparently between the two (if you exclude the superpowers) is that one is nerd who wears thick glasses and the other has single twirl of hair on his forehead ..

But its a matter of evolution for the modern audience .. who are used to seeing more empowered female characters and leading men with more complex personalities ..

see, only time the banter was relevant was doing 90s cartoon series, but i guess you were not born then, how would you know.
secondly superman is boring in either form clark kent or boy scout.
inface except for wally west and old version of aurther, all superheros in DC are stuck up. grim and always talking about duty and shit.

Yes I was very much alive through the 90s .. and heard most of the ridiculous things that were aired on TV from Batman to the Green Hornet.

Precisely the Boy Scout behavior, is what makes for a dull story line. Its easy to be a villain to these prudish self-righteous Superheroes which takes all the fun out.

however, the DC heroes are brilliant in their own right.
I totally love wally and jordan, their story lines are brilliant.

Thisis one of the most ?#@*&%!^$~ed up movies i have ever seen. It is very brilliantly done, however the theme is very sick and twisted. Not to mention that i never expected anything liek this from Greeks
    Dogtooth (Kynodontas) - Rotten Tomatoes

highly recommended to anyone who likes ?#@*&%!^$~ed up cinema.
